                Welcome to the City of Birmingham's

       fast, easy and convenient Online Tax Filing and Payment System.                                                                                                                                                     

In an effort to better serve the public, we have added electronic bank draft (e-check) at no charge as a new payment option which allows taxpayers to file their tax forms and make payments for current or prior periods without the need to file paper forms. You can now file and pay the taxes listed to the left of this page online using a credit card or e-check. This system is available to all active accounts but does require registered taxpayers to log in first to obtain a password.

Your payment using either credit card or e-check must be transmitted no later than 11:59 p.m. CST, on or before the 20th day of the month following your collection period. You can also update your account information, and change your address by clicking one of the options to the left of your screen.

Credit card payments are limited to $4,000 and must be Visa or Master Card. If your payment is over $4,000, you must pay by e-check, mail, or bring your payment to the City of Birmingham Tax and License Division, 710 No. 20th Street, City Hall Room TL-100, Birmingham, Alabama 35203 or mail to: City of Birmingham, P.O. Box 830638, Birmingham, Alabama 35283-0638.
